COVID-19 RELIEF

Helping tribal communities not only gives us the opportunity to help others in need, but gives us the opportunity to protect languages, traditions, and cultures. During these unprecedented times the Indigenous Peoples' Initiative (IPI) has halted lobbying efforts to help the White Mountain Apache Tribe. The IPI has been able to distribute donations to EMS, fire department, Whiteriver Police Department, jails, doctors, and people within the community in need of supplies. In addition, the IPI was also able to help obtain supplies for Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health, such as N95 Face Masks, Face shields and hand sanitizer.
